SALT LAKE CITY — Jakob Poetl had 16 points and 13 rebounds and No. 13 Utah rallied for a 57-55 victory over Colorado in the regular-season finale on Saturday night.
The Utes go into the Pac-12 Tournament as the No. 2 seed next week.
The Buffaloes will be the No. 5 seed.
Colorado seemed to put the game away with a 16-0 run in the second half that pushed the lead to 45-31. The Utes were 0 for 9 during that stretch with four turnovers and went scoreless for nearly seven minutes.
Then Utah found some life.
The Utes responded with a 19-0 run as Jordan Loveridge, Brandon Taylor and Lorenzo Bonam made plays on both ends of the floor.
Bonam finished with 16 points and Loveridge added 10.
Josh Scott led Colorado with 11 points while Tory Miller scored seven off the bench.
