Prep girls soccer roundup for Tuesday, Oct. 1:

MONROE — Sydney Garner scored the game-winning goal with three minutes remaining in the Wesco 3A/2A contest to help push the Bearcats past the Spartans. The goal was Garner’s fourth of the night. Addison Williams recorded two assists and Madalynn Swartz added one for Monroe (2-5-0 overall, 2-1-0 in league). Kendall Rhodes, Georgia Lenz and Leise Harris tallied goals for Stanwood (1-6-1, 1-3-1).

Wesco 4A

Glacier Peak 1, Arlington 0

ARLINGTON — Avery Burgmaier netted the game-winning goal in overtime to lift the Grizzlies over the Eagles. Glacier Peak improved to 4-2-0 overall and 3-2-0 in league play. Arlington dropped to 2-6-0, 1-4-0.

Lake Stevens 1, Kamiak 1

MUKILTEO — The Vikings and Knights dueled to a stalemate. Olivia Fast netted Lake Stevens’ (5-0-2 overall, 4-0-1 league) goal. Lexi Johnson secured Kamiak’s (3-1-4, 3-0-2) goal, assisted by Emma Barrett.

EDMONDS — Janie Hanson scored two goals on assists from Natalie Maxey and Gabbie Martin-Mazzeo, and Alice Everett earned a shutout as the Warriors improved to 5-3 overall and 2-3 league. Meadowdale dropped to 4-4, 2-3.
