RENTON — Snohomish fell behind 21-0 after the first quarter and couldn’t slow Liberty (Renton) down in the first half in the non-league loss. The Panthers trailed 46-0 at halftime.

William Hernandez and Cohen Bennett each had a rushing touchdown in the second half for Snohomish (1-5).

Liberty improved to 3-3 on the season.

Northwest Conference

Lakewood 46, Squalicum 42

Lakewood (2-3, 1-2) won its first league game in a shootout over Squalicum (3-3, 1-3).

SNOHOMISH — Quinlynn McAuliffe scored the winning goal in the 84th minute off an assist from Tia Schwetz to lift Jackson to the thrilling league win.

The Timberwolves improved to 6-4-2 overall and 2-2-0 in Wesco 4A play.

Glacier Peak fell to 1-8-0 and 1-3-0.

Mountlake Terrace 2, Shorecrest 1 (OT)

SHORELINE — Claire August scored the winning goal in overtime, her second goal of the game, off an assist from Ava Hunt as Mountlake Terrace handed Shorecrest its first loss of the season.

Emmalynn Kuenning assisted August’s first goal in the first half, and Jordyn Stokes made four saves in goal for Mountlake Terrace (7-3-1, 7-2-1 Wesco 3A/2A).

Cassie Chesnut scored on a header off a corner kick from Bria Metcalf-Lindenberger in the 45th minute for Shorecrest (10-1-0, 9-1-0).

Cascade 1, Lynnwood 0

EVERETT — Zoey Rhodes scored the lone goal in the game to lift Cascade to the league win.

The Bruins improved to 4-7-0 overall and 3-7-0 in Wesco 3A/2A.

Lynnwood dropped to 0-11-0 and 0-10-0.

Arlington 2, Marysville Getchell 0

ARLINGTON — Haley Wagester and Jersey Walker scored to power Arlington to the league win.

Katie Snow earned the shutout in goal and Grace Davis had an assist for Arlington (5-4-2, 4-4-2 Wesco 3A/2A).

Marysville Getchell fell to 1-9-1 overall and 1-9-0 in league.

Meadowdale 5, Snohomish 1

LYNNWOOD — Rachel Reitz finished with a hat trick as Meadowdale rolled to the league win.

Emmi Kuecker and Maddi Gibson added goals for Meadowdale (5-5-1, 5-4-1 Wesco 3A/2A).

BOTHELL — Hannah Johnson had 10 kills, two blocks and one ace, and Sammy Holmer added six kills and six digs as Lynnwood’s perfect start to the season continued with a 25-17, 25-11, 25-13 league sweep.

Ady Morgan had five kills and two blocks, and Charlie Thomas added 24 assists and two aces for Lynnwood (10-0, 8-0 Wesco 3A/2A).

Amara Williams had five kills, five digs and two blocks, Kiana Volkmann added 10 digs and one ace, and Suleyka Uriostegui chipped in 12 assists, three kills, two blocks and five digs for Cascade (2-8, 1-7).

Meadowdale 3, Shorecrest 2

LYNNWOOD — Ja’elle Jenkins had 15 kills, six digs and two blocks, and Mia John added 10 kills and one block as Meadowdale downed Shorecrest 16-25, 27-25, 25-5, 19-25, 15-11 in a five-set league thriller.

Laiken Thoesen had 38 assists, 11 digs and two blocks, Sofa Brockmeyer had 19 digs, and Jackie Tang added 11 digs and one block for Meadowdale (6-4, 6-2 Wesco 3A/2A).

Shorecrest fell to 8-2 overall and 6-2 in league play.

Monroe 3, Stanwood 1

MONROE — Shanara Peebles finished with 20 kills, and Sawyer Mahler added 10 kills, seven digs and five aces to lead Monroe to a 25-14, 25-20, 18-25, 25-16 league win.

Karisa Martin had 15 kills, Sara Skold added 32 assists, nine digs and one kills, and Niya Insixiengmay chipped in five aces, three assists and nine digs for Monroe (5-4, 4-4 Wesco 3A/2A).

Whitney Longspaugh had 16 kills, two blocks and three digs, Cambirelle Brown and Tessi Mumbuluma each had seven kills, and Harper Neyens chipped in three kills, two aces and 16 digs for Stanwood (3-6, 3-5).
