Wesco North 3A/2A

Everett 4, Snohomish 3

SNOHOMISH — Two Everett (6-5 overall, 2-1 league) runs in the fifth ended up being the decider as each team went scoreless for the final two frames. Mia Hoekendorf pitched five innings, allowing one hit to eight Ks, but she walked nine hitters. Anna Luscher would step in to save the win, striking out three in two scoreless innings. Hoekendorf produced on offense, scoring three runs and an RBI on a 1-for-2 day. Madeline Pewitt (3-for-3, two RBI, one run) had a perfect day at the plate for Everett. Abby Edwards pitched a complete game, striking out 13 for Snohomish (7-5, 0-3).

Stanwood 10, Monroe 2

STANWOOD — A 7-0 lead after two innings spelled the beginning of a dominant win for the first-place Spartans (10-1, 2-0). Addi Anderson had a day to remember, hitting a home run en route to a 3-for-4, two-RBI, three-run outing. Anderson also pitched the entire game, striking out 11 while allowing eight hits. Reagan Ryan (3-for-4, two runs) led the Spartans offense with three RBI. Hadley Oylear (3-for-4) scored both runs for Monroe (8-5, 3-1), which picked up its first league loss.

Non-league

Glacier Peak 6, Archbishop Murphy 4

SNOHOMISH — Four late unanswered runs were not enough for Archbishop Murphy (9-5) to overcome Glacier Peak (10-2). Morgan Udy (1-for-2, four RBI, one run) and Emma Hirshorn (1-for-3, two RBI) had a hand in every one of the Grizzlies’ runs. Hirshorn also pitched a complete game, finishing with nine Ks to nine hits allowed. Archbishop Murphy’s Sarah Fletcher (1-for-4, HR, two RBI, one run) got the best of Hirshorn in that last barrage, hitting a two-run homer to give the Wildcats a fighting chance in the seventh.

GRANITE FALLS — A 15-for-27 day netted the Tigers (3-4, 1-1) a run-rule win. Bella Frye (3-for-3, two 3B, four RBI, three runs) could do no wrong from the plate while Addison Haverfield (3-for-4, two RBI, 2B, 3B, two runs) joined Frye with two extra base hits herself.
