Silvertips top Giants

Aidan Sutter scores a goal and adds two assists in a 4-1 win.

EVERETT — Aidan Sutter had a goal and two assists and the Everett Silvertips beat the Vancouver Giants 4-1 on Saturday at Angel of the Winds Arena.

Kaden Hammell, Beau Courtney and Andrew Petruk each added a goal for Everett. Goaltender Tyler Palmer stopped 16 of 17 shots.

Ty Thorpe scored the lone goal for Vancouver. Netminder Brett Mirwald had 37 saves in 41 chances.
