MONROE — Evergreen Speedway announce on Wednesday that Youth Hornets will run on the July 4th Demo Derby Extravaganza. Youth Hornets are open to 14- and 15-year-olds. A copy of your Birth Certificate will be required.
All youth Hornets must have a responsible adult to act as a Crew Chief. Crew chiefs must load and unload cars from the trailers for our youth racers. Youth Hornet drivers DO NOT have to hold a NASCAR License.
Minor release forms must be filled out in the Speedway office prior to July 4 or at back gate on July 4; parent signature(s) REQUIRED.
Car construction rules will be the same as the Hornet Division; Youth Hornets will only race on the one-fifth mile track and only with one another.
