Mildred Salvesen of Lynnwood sums up reader’s thoughts on a stroll along this stretch of local boardwalk. “Even though our creaking bones require a slower pace,” Salvesen said, it’s the best place for “holding hands, feeling the cool breeze blowing through my hair, sitting on a bench to watch the setting sun over the Olympics, [and] hear my husband say, while looking at me through his bifocals, ‘You’re cute.’”
