It’s time to put on your Easter bonnet and head down to your local egg hunt. Here’s what local communities have planned.

Bothell

Easter Egg Hunt: 10 Saturday, April 11, The Northshore YMCA and the City of Bothell host this event for children through 6th grade featuring a visit with the Easter Bunny, face painting and art activities, at Westhill Elementary, 19515 88th Ave. NE, Bothell. Easter Eggstravaganza: 11 a.m. Saturday, April 11, Eastside Foursquare Church, 14520 100th Ave NE, Bothell hosts free this annual community egg hunt divided by age groups with eggs filled with candy and prizes, plus photos with the Bible Bunny. Brier

Traditional Egg Hunt: 10 a.m. Saturday, April 11, thousands of eggs stuffed with candy and prizes, at Brier Park, 2903 228th St. SW and staggered start for different age groups. Admission: Free, bring a basket to collect eggs in; bring canned food for food drive. Info: ci.brier.wa.us.

Edmonds

Edmonds Easter Egg Hunt: 10 a.m. Saturday, April 11, the 21st annual event features hunts for three age groups in Edmonds City Park, 3rd Ave. &Howell, and special prize-winning golden eggs. “Eggstravaganza” Egg Hunt: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 11, the 6th annual “rain or shine” event starts with face painting, balloon animals, music and fun, and the Easter Bunny, followed by egg hunts with special prize and candy-filled eggs for ages 1-4 at 11 a.m., Kindergarten-5th graders at noon, at Heatherwood Middle School, 1419 Trillium Blvd. SE, Mill Creek. Eggstravaganza: 1 p.m. Saturday, April 11, Shoreline Community Church presents its annual community egg hunt, featuring more than 50,000 eggs and prizes for kids (&some for adults) at Shoreline Stadium, 185th St. &5th Ave. NE.
