Bannister-Swanson
Melissa Bannister and John Swanson are planning an Aug. 7 wedding at Beaver Lake Lodge.
The future bride, daughter of Edith and Ron Bannister, of Kenmore, is a 2000 graduate of Inglemoor High School.
The groom-to-be is the son of Douglas Swanson, of Kingston, and Sandra Starnes, of Poulsbo. A 2002 graduate of North Kitsap High School, he then went on to graduate from Central Washington University in 2008 with a BA in Business Management.
Obrochta-Brendemuhl
Tana Obrochta and Zac Brendemuhl plan a July 24 wedding at the groom’s grandparents’ home in Cle Elum.
The future bride, daughter of Steve and Donnell Obrochta, of Mountlake Terrace, is a 2005 graduate of Mountlake Terrace High School. She is currently employed by Tulio’s Restaurante in Seattle.
The future groom, son of Laurence and Cheryl Brendemuhl, of Edmonds, is a 2005 graduate of Edmonds-Woodway High School. He is currently employed as an MP in the United States Marine Corps, Twentynine Palms, Calif.
The couple will make their home in Southern California.
Melia-De Oliveira
Shay Elizabeth Gray Melia, 29, and Gustavo Lucio Marcelino Marcondes De Oliveira, 25, are planning a September wedding at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Irvington-on-Hudson, N.Y.
The future bride is the daughter of Carol G. Potter, of Edmonds, and John F.R. Melia, of Brooklyn Heights, N.Y., both formerly of Hastings-on-Hudson, NY. She graduated from Meadowdale High School and is a hair and make-up stylist for photography, film and television and sees clients at the Riverspa in Irvington.
The future groom is the son of Cleide L. Marcelino, of Sao Paulo, Brazil, and Sergio M. De Oliveira, of New Rochelle, N.Y. He attended Westchester Community College in Valhalla, N.Y., and works at Mima Vinoteca in Irvington.
