Here are selected reports from Shoreline and Lake Forest Park police.

Aug. 3

DUI. 18500 block Midvale Ave. Someone was passed out behind the wheel of their car in the middle of the roadway. They were arrested for drinking and driving.

Aug. 4

Auto theft. 900 block N. 178th St. A 1991 Saturn was stolen from the shoulder of the roadway.

Vandalism. 17000 block NE 145th St. An “irate” man hit walls with a baseball bat, causing damage at a county housing apartment.

Larceny. 15000 block Westminster Way N. A woman’s purse was taken from her shopping cart at a grocery store.

Auto theft. 19800 block Bagley Pl. N. A vehicle was missing from an apartment parking lot.

Aug. 5

Larceny. 15000 block Aurora Ave. N. A woman stole money from a bar area at a casino.

Liquor violations. 19000 block 20th Ave. NW. Minors were drinking at a bonfire at a public beach.

DUI. 19000 block 21st Ave. NW. Someone was arrested for drinking and driving.

Residential burglary. 19500 block Stone Ave. N. A laptop computer was taken from a home. There were no signs of forced entry.

Larceny. 15700 block First Ave. NE. A weed eater was taken from outside of a home.

Confiscated property. 28000 block Ashworth Ave. N. An air pistol was confiscated from a juvenile at a transit center.

Aug. 6

Phone calls. 18000 block N. 177th St. A man was receiving continual text messages on his cell phone. The messages turned into vague threats to the victim after he asked the person to stop.

Larceny. 20000 block Ballinger Way. A driver left without paying for gas.

Threats. 15000 block 15th Ave. NE. Someone threatened to run over someone in a church parking lot.

Aug. 7

Larceny. 14500 block Evanston Ave. N. A woman hosted a party and later discovered her wallet and cell phone were missing.

Aug. 8

DUI. 18500 block Corliss Ave. N. Someone was arrested for drinking and driving.

Commercial burglary. 15200 block Aurora Ave. N. Someone broke into a smoke shop after kicking in the rear door.

Vandalism. 19300 block Third Ave. NW. Graffiti markings were found on the walls of a middle school.

Threats. 19500 block Echolake Pl. A victim was threatened via phone message.

Vandalism. 2300 block N. 162nd St. A woman found the word “playa” spray painted on the hood of her car.

Aug. 9

Larceny. 20300 block Aurora Ave. N. A purse was taken from an unlocked vehicle.

Aug. 10

Auto theft. 14000 block N. 200th St. A vehicle was stolen from a private parking lot.
