Edmonds

South County Senior Center (220 Railroad Ave., Edmonds; 425-774-5555) offers the following events &activities.

• AARP Chapter #775 — 1 p.m. 2nd Fridays: April 11, “Mending Medicare’s Maladies.”

• Edmonds Senior Kiwanis Club — 10 a.m. Tuesdays: Meets at the Center. Info: Buck Weaver, 425-774-3568.

• Friday Fling — 1 p.m. 1st &4th Fridays: Dance or listen to the Nice n’ Easy combo in the ballroom. Cost: $2 per person.

Lynnwood

Lynnwood Senior Center (Scriber Square Shopping Center, 5800 198th St. SW.; 425-744-6464) offers the following events &activities:

• Foot Care — 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday, April 11: Call for appointment. $13.

• Conversation Cafe — 11:30 a.m., Monday, April 14: Israel Multicultural Day. Middle Eastern lunch. Lunch $2, sign up. Program at noon, free. Dari Iron, an Israeli citizen, will share stories and a slide show of her native country.

• Artist Reception — 4-6:30 p.m. Monday, April 14: Lynnwood Senior Center’s First Annual Fine Art Show in its new gallery. Open to public. Refreshments served.

• Tax Return Assistance — 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Fridays, through April 15: Volunteers will be on hand to assist with tax return preparation. Free, but sign up for appointment.

• Genealogy class — 10 a.m. 1st Fridays: Free.

• Driftwood Sculpture — 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays: $3 drop-in fee.

• Intermediate Tap — 1 p.m. Tuesdays: $3 drop-in fee.

• Line Dance — 2 p.m. Tuesdays: $3 drop-in fee.

• Walking Club — 10 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays: Set your own speed and distance.

Mountlake Terrace

Mountlake Terrace Senior Group (5605 235th St. SW, Mountlake Terrace; 425-672-2407) offers the following events &activities:

• Senior Lunch — noon Wednesdays: By reservation (call by previous Monday). Cost: $4.

Mill Creek
