Transform your evening with lights, action, good times and good friends. All it takes is a trip to the Mpulse Lounge at Tulalip Resort Casino.

“When the hotel opened in August, part of the new construction was the phenomenal Mpulse Lounge,” said publicist Danielle Zarella. “Its beautiful, contemporary design is very stylish without being too trendy.”

The lounge includes a sleek arrangement of tech and glam. Within its entry, “liquid lava” swirls beneath your footsteps. Distinctive lighting fuels the high energy of the lounge, while the high-gloss black and mirrored ceiling adds sophisticated appeal.

Design elements throughout speak with a modern edge: retro chandeliers that sparkle to the beat of the music, a backdrop of chain link drapery and splashes of red all work together, setting the stage for fun.

The room is as comfortable as it is chic. Secluded lounge beds are plush, conversational seating is maximized, and spacious booth seating is flanked by urban architecture.

According to Zarella, the lounge’s bar boasts a selection of beverages that float on glowing shelves surrounded by ever-changing color. She added that a VIP area, complete with lounge seating, is ideal for special groups and private parties.

ust outside the bar, the scenery takes a breath of fresh air. The lounge’s patio is highlighted by an expansive fire pit filled with sparkling bits of glass. The area is heated by two distinctive patio heaters designed as spiraling towers of flame.

“As the weather turns from spring into summer, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy a nice drink or maybe a cigar out on the deck,” Zarella said.

Of course, the Mpulse Lounge isn’t the only attraction that lures hard-working adults into the sanction of good times. The casino’s gaming floor is open and inviting, providing a variety of opportunities to relax and revive. “The casino is very maneuverable,” Zarella said. “There’s nothing worse than feeling lost or claustrophobic on a gaming floor.”

In addition to the nearly 2,000 slot and video poker machines, table games such as blackjack and roulette, and a non-smoking poker room, Tulalip also provides a room specific to baccarat.

“The Slahal Room features six different kinds of baccarat,” Zarella said. “It’s located across from the Mpulse Lounge and features a full-service bar.”

Part of the casino’s appeal is drawn from its rewards club. Tulalip Resort Casino pays a full point on every dollar played to members of the rewards club. In turn, members have the option to cash-in their points for play, food, entertainment and more.

Rewards members also receive discounts from a number of local retailers and enter monthly giveaways. Weekly during the month of March, the resort is giving away 10 gas cards, each in the amount of $600.

The resort is also known for its variety of entertainment. “The property has a 3,000 seat amphitheater that features a summer concert series,” Zarella said, noting that the acts for these highly anticipated concerts will be announced soon on the resort’s Web site.

Also on its Web site is the schedule for Canoes Cabaret. Throughout the year, the Canoes Cabaret shows provide quality entertainment with eclectic appeal. And there’s never a cover charge.

A favorite among customers is the karaoke held each Tuesday. Rockstar Live gives you a chance to front a live band, sing your favorite songs and put on a show.

Tribute concerts featuring the hits of Van Halen and Three Dog Night, Celtic music by Tiller’s Folly, country tunes by Gerry Andal, and ’70s funk by The Afrodisiacs are also some of the music genres to be enjoyed at the cabaret.
